K7000 13" / 19" 25" Color Cap Kit

Monitor repair kit for Wells-Gardner K7000 Series Monitor

Parts included in this kit:*

3 – 1uF @ 50V
2 – 10uF @ 50V
2 - 22uF @ 50V
1 – 33uF @ 25V
1 – 47uF @ 25V
1 – 100uF @ 35V or 50V
2-   470uF @ 16V
1 – 1000uF @ 25V
1 – 1000uF @ 35V
1 – 2200uF @ 35V
1 – 4.7uF @ 160V
1 – 22uF @ 160V
1 – 47uF @ 200V

Replace all the parts on the monitor even though many of the original parts seem to be working fine because age, humidity, and temperature cause the value of the electrolytic capacitors to change.

All the capacitors are polarized and can only be inserted in one direction.  Watch the markings for polarity on each capacitor.  On the top side of the monitor board where each capacitor is located is a positive sign (+).  Insert the longer lead of the capacitor into the hole marked positive (+).

*The actual voltage rating value may be higher than stated and only serves for a higher safety margin, and is a perfectly acceptable replacement. Do not use a lower than stated voltage rating.

Make sure the game is unplugged and install the following parts:

C10: 33uF@25V
C11: 22uF@50V
C12:  1uF@50V
C13: 22uF@50V
C18: 1uF@50V
C20: 10uF@50V
C21: 10uF@50V
C22: 1uF@50V
C23: 47uF@25V
C40: 2200uF@35V
C42: 1000uF@25V
C45: 470uF@16V
C46: 470uF@16V
C48: 100uF@35V or 50V
C50: 1000uF@35V
C56: 22uF@160V
C57: 47uF@200V
C204: 4.7uF@160V*

*C204 is used only on the neck board of the larger K7000 monitors.

If you have any problems with the chassis after installing the kit then look for loose solder connections around the flyback transformer, L1, L2, and the rest of the board. This chassis is known for developing loose solder connections.
